To help us offer rare Japanese Pokémon products, exclusive TCG accessories, limited releases, and specialty imports, some items on our store are sold as Backorder Items. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


What Is a Backorder?

A backorder item is a product that is not currently in stock at our warehouse but is available through one of our suppliers or distribution partners.

When you place a backorder:

  • We secure the item from our supplier after your purchase
  • The item is then shipped to us
  • Once received and processed, we ship it to you

Backorders allow us to offer:

  • Japanese-exclusive Pokémon Center products
  • Limited TCG accessories
  • Imported sealed products
  • Hard-to-find collectibles
  • Upcoming restocks and reprints

Estimated Fulfillment Times

Backorder fulfillment timelines vary depending on supplier availability, release schedules, and international shipping transit.

Allocation & Availability

Submitting a backorder does not guarantee fulfillment.

Some products:

  • Have limited allocations
  • May sell out at suppliers before procurement
  • Can become discontinued without notice

If we are unable to fulfill your order:

  • You will be notified promptly
  • A refund or store credit option will be provided

Payment Policy

All backorder items are charged at checkout.

This allows us to:

  • Secure inventory from suppliers quickly
  • Lock in pricing and allocations
  • Process orders faster once stock becomes available

Prices may increase after release or supplier shortages occur.


Cancellation Policy

Before Supplier Confirmation

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if we have not yet secured the item from our supplier.

After Supplier Confirmation

Once inventory has been secured:

  • Orders may become non-cancellable
  • Cancellation fees may apply
  • Payment processor fees may be deducted from refunds where applicable

Abuse Prevention

Repeated cancellations of backorder items may result in future order restrictions.


Combined Orders

If your order contains:

  • In-stock items
  • Preorder items
  • Backorder items

Your order will ship once all items are available


Condition Standards

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All products are brand new
  • Factory sealed
  • Authentic merchandise sourced through trusted suppliers

Because many products are imported internationally:

  • Minor packaging imperfections may occur
  • Small dents, scratches, seal looseness, or cosmetic wear on outer packaging are not considered damaged items

We cannot guarantee mint packaging condition for sealed products.


International Import Disclaimer

Imported products may include:

  • Japanese-language packaging
  • Regional branding differences
  • Import stickers or distributor labels

International shipping timelines may also be affected by:

  • Customs inspections
  • Carrier delays
  • Weather disruptions

Shipping Address Responsibility

  • Mail forwarding services are accurate

CurryCards is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages caused by incorrect addresses
  • Delays from forwarding services
  • Undeliverable shipments due to customer error
